Establishment No.: p493
USDA Inspection Report: 23 Jun 2011
Violation: 381.65(a), 381.76(b)
Citation: At approximately 1910 hours while I was performing O4CO4 for inspecting necks at the giblets station, two chickens' heads were found attached to the neckcs at necks' combo at exit of the necks' chiller. Mixing of edible and inedible product together in the same combo create unsanitary condition. I took a regulatory control action by tagging the necks' combo with tag #B40197873 . and the chiller with tag #B40197872. I informed Mr. Second Shift Manager. Immediately, the establishment started the corrective action by condemning the product found in the combo and the chiller. The tag was removed at approximately 1955 after the chiller was sanitized and inspected by both plant management and USDA inspector. The establishment failed to comply with 9 CFR 381.65(a). This document serves as written notification that your failure to comply with regulatory requirement(s) could result in additional regulatory or administrative action as described in 9 CFR 500.
