Establishment No.: p493
USDA Inspection Report: 8 Jul 2011
Violation: 416.2(b)(2), 416.2(d), 416.4(d)
Citation: On 07/08/2011, at approximately 0715 hours, SCSI and I entered the shipping cooler and we observed water dripping from the ceiling in several locations. I observed several drops landing on the top of a lid of W.I.P. product in a plastic tote. An employee removed the pallet of product which was located under one of the drips and removed the lid and replaced it with a clean lid. U.S.D.A. rejected the cooler by applying US Reject tag # B40197885. USDA notified Mr. (QA Manager) and Mr. (Shipping Supervisor) of the noncompliance and informed them that a NR would be issued for this noncompliance. The shipping cooler was re-inspected and released to operation at 0815 hours. This is a violation of 9 CFR 416.2(b)(2); 416.2(d), and 416.4(d). The establishment has received both written and oral notification of this noncompliance. Failure to meet regulatory requirements could result in additional administrative action as described in 9 CFR part 500.
