Citation: At approximately 4:20 pm upon performing my duties I requested the SSOP and HACCP book for the second day in a row. I ask QA and Shift Supervisor neither can produce the plans I need to perform my duties. Management was notified immediately upon findings of this issue. This is not the first time I don't have access to the plans. I gave a NR on 9/30/11 and the Preventive Measures are" The second shift group leader was advised to contact the Director of FSQA for access to the books in future. A business card with the phone numbers was given to the group leader for reference. Second Shift does not have a clue about the above statement. Continued failure to meet regulatory requirements can lead to enforcement actions as described in 9CFR part 500.4.
416.16(a) Each official establishment shall maintain daily records sufficient to document the implementation and monitoring of the Sanitation SOP’s and any corrective actions taken. The establishment employee(s) specified in the Sanitation SOP’s as being responsible for the implementation and monitoring of the procedure(s) specified in the Sanitation SOP’s shall authenticate these records with his or her initials and the date.
