Diagnosis and Treatment Center
Green Manor Dialysis Center
Ghent, New York
The Green Manor Dialysis Center is located in Ghent,
New York. Construction began in the late Fall of 1995 and the center opened in April 1996.
The cost of this 11,000 sq. ft. facility was $1,400,000, including all equipment,
furnishings, financing, and other soft costs.
There are 11 hemo-dialysis stations,
including an isolation room. The main treatment area with 10 stations is shown in the
photo above. Skylights and
plants help to "soften" the atmosphere, and each station has its own window.
The photo to the right shows the water treatment
equipment. Piping for RO water, bicarbonate, and acid run under the floor in conduits to
each station in a continuous flowing loop.
