Dear Cat Lover
Thank you for your support
throughout the year,
now that itıs winter,
weıll need your ear,
we get through the season
on a wing and a prayer,
not only the cold,
but the hunger we fear.
Your sweet generosity
will get us through
and we want you to know,
we owe it all to you!
Please donıt forget us
hidden behind
the dumpsters and bushes,
hoping to find
some leftover food,
a warm place to stay,
the typical life
of a cat thatıs a stray
while we are still waiting
for our dream to come true:
To spend our lives with a
person like you!

Foster-care cats and kittens: You could care for
cats and kittens while we
are looking for the purr-fect adoptive home. We will provide you with food
and will be in constant contact with you. Since we have many animals in need
for a home we are sometimes overwhelmed with the number of cats and kittens
and in need for "foster parents"
Caretaker: Currently we are feeding 180 cats in 15 managed colonies. We have
several caretakers who attend the colonies on a daily base to feed and monitor the cats
for new comers or cats who need medical attention.
If you are interested to be a caretaker, contact us.
Trapper: The demand for our service (trap/neuter/return) is growing and
we need trappers who respond to a situation and will trap the cats as well as transport
them to/and from one of our veterinarians.
Public Relations: We need people who can offer computer skills and some spare
time for Public Relations, advertisement, design, creating food-boxes, newsletter, mailing
list, grant research, fund raising, grant writing, etc.
Carpenters: To built shelters for the cats in the winter
WE NEED DONATIONS:
$$$ to continue to spay / neuter and inoculate and medical attend the
forgotten felines
cages / carriers to transport the cats
doghouses and shelters
bedding / straw / dry cat & dog food / fencing material / computers / a van/
Please contact us if you are interested in helping the forgotten felines.

Animalkind Inc.is a not-for-profit welfare, protection, rescue, rights organization dedicated to the compassionate care and humane population control of abandoned, feral and stray cats in Hudson, New York (Columbia County) and the surrounding area. We promote non-lethal prevention of an unwanted litter or litters of kittens through trap, spay, neuter, release (return), (tnr, TNR). An altered cat or kitten is released into a managed colony. Felines living in such colonies are assured kind daily care. Adoption to homes providing love and care for cats and kittens is encouraged. We also provide low or no cost spaying and neutering assistance to low income pet owners and help increase public awareness and education through the media, special events, and publications to promote compassion, respect, and kindness towards all animals.
