Animal Equality: Demonstrators Carry Bodies of Dead Animals
From Free From Harm
On 29th July 2012, 40 activists from Animal Equality Germany participated in a demonstration in Regensburg, Germany to show the consequences of animal exploitation.
The activists held the bodies of dead animals - victims of animal exploitation who once felt pain, sorrow and anxiety. These animals died because they were looked upon by society as ‘property’ and their bodies on this demonstration represent the millions who are massacred daily in farms, slaughterhouses and other centres of animal exploitation.
The demonstration aimed to create reflection in society, encouraging everyone to think of the anonymous victims, putting faces to the deaths.
