promote the vegetarian ethic in the Mid-Hudson (New York) region, educate the community
and aid anyone in the pursuit of a totally vegetarian (vegan) cruelty-free and healthful

Mid-Summer Picnic
Sunday, July 20 on Crystal Lake in Rhinebeck, NY
2 to 5 PM
Bring a vegan dish, munchies, or dessert for at least 6 people.
Beverages
provided.
Please bring your own plates and utensils and a lawn chair or blanket.
Canoeing is available. Families are welcome. We are
especially looking for vegetarian families, but you do not need to be vegetarian
to attend. Just eat like one for the afternoon.
We will be having our second annual vegan potato salad
contest. If you wish to enter, bring your entry in addition to your other dish.
Include the recipe and list of ingredients.
Admission is $5 for adults with a dish, $15 without.
