GREAT AMERICAN MEAT-OUT
Join us as we celebrate this annual event. All our potlucks
are good, but the offerings here are always spectacular. It will be a festive,
enjoyable, and informative event.
Bring a vegan dish (no meat, poultry, dairy, eggs or honey) to
share, and your own plate and utensils. We supply beverages. The cost is $5 for
adults, children 12 and under are admitted with no charge.
We begin at 5:00 PM. The Mid-Hudson Vegetarian Society, Inc.
will hold a short but important Annual Meeting at this event. Our speaker is
Milton Mills, MD. Several of us have heard him at the Summerfest Conferences and
we are delighted that he will travel from Baltimore to be with us.
His informative talk, "Are We Designed To Eat Meat?" is an
eye-opener for those who are new to this kind of information. He has much to
offer the longtime vegetarian as well. See Dr. Mills' article on the cover for
an introduction to this topic. You will enjoy both hearing him and meeting him.
We guarantee it.
This is THE event to bring your vegetarian-leaning or
vegetarian-curious friends. Dr. Mills will also be speaking to community groups
in the area. Check our website for the schedule.
We would appreciate early RSVPs (on or before March 1). Call 845.876.2626,
845.338.8223 or 518.828.0972.
