Winter Issue - 2003-2004
Thanksgiving was a Great Success
The 19th annual Thanksgiving was well attended (105 people).
On Thanksgiving Day, we gathered at the United Methodist Church in Red Hook.
Thanks to our hard-working volunteers, we were able to
accommodate an overflow crowd who enjoyed the food prepared by MHVS and most
amply supplemented by the potluck offering.
Brenda Davis, RD from British Columbia, who is on a
seven-month North American tour, was our guest speaker and gave a lovely talk on
Vegan Ethics. We were proud to be Turkey-Free in 2003 and will do it again in
2004.
