HOG wild and cruelty-free

Mid-Hudson Vegetarian Society member Melanie Carpenter shows off her faux leather jacket and "veghog" license plate, proving that you don't have to be an animal killer and wear leather to love to travel with the HOGs. Melanie likes the look of leather and says her patches wouldn't look as good on most other fabrics, so she made her own vest out of imitation leather. She also made her own non-leather touring bags for her bike. She adds that the other HOG members have never made negative comments about her being vegan and now supply vegan burgers at their events. She is a good example of teaching by good example.

We look forward to hearing from you
