In addition to an amazing spread that will leave everyone with very full bellies, non-edible treats will include: Comedy by Dan Piraro ("Bizarro"); acoustic music by Elizabeth Mitchell & Daniel Littleton of "Ida", known for their lovely, subtle folk-flavored indie-rock; Paul Shapiro, senior director of Humane Society of the US's Factory Farming campaign, will lay some truth bombs on the peeps; Colleen Patrick-Goudreau, founder of Compassionate Cooks will speak about the joy of vegan cooking. Volunteers and attendees wanted. Contact Woodstock Farm Animal Sanctuary for more details and tickets (www.woodstockfas.org).
