Beethoven and Lady
☺Beethoven and Lady have been adopted!☺

beethoven.jpg (123005 bytes)lady.jpg (83398 bytes)Beethoven and Lady are two Bulldog/Boxer mix sweeties who were rescued from the West Virginia flooding. Unfortunately, they were scheduled to be shot in the head while caged just because of their breed type and the time constraints that everyone was working under.

When I went into their kennel to see them they viciously attacked me!...with tons of kisses and waggie tails. How could I leave them?  They are now residents of New Hope until we can place them into proper prescreened homes.

Beethoven is between 1 and 2 years old and is a real attention hog.  He loves giving kisses and putting his paws up on you for some loving.

Lady is about the same age and is slightly more timid although she has warmed up a lot just in her time here and her butt wags constantly when you baby talk her. She has been enjoying what seems to be her first toys and loves the ones that squeak.

Both are good with men and women and are animal friendly when separate but can be slightly aggressive when together.  These dogs deserve a great home after all that they have been through in the disaster!

Thanks to you, Beethoven and Lady now have a loving home!

New Hope Sanctuary for the Animals is a rescue, haven, and adoption organization for abused, tortured, and abandoned innocent animals and pets. We are based on the Christian principles that God intended humans to follow as guardians of His creation.  We are a not-for-profit welfare, protection, rescue, rights organization dedicated to the compassionate care of stray and abandoned cats, kittens, dogs, puppies, litters, and farm animals (chickens, pigs, etc.).  We encourage people to adopt and provide kind and loving care for a cat, dog, kitten, puppy, or litter, as well as to   promote humane population control through spaying and neutering.  We are involved in direct action in rescuing and placing animals within a network of animal groups across the nation, and in increasing public awareness and education about the abuse, torture, factory farming, slaughtering, butchering and the murder of innocents, and the need to spay and neuter.  Through the media, special events, and publications we   promote anticruelty, love, compassion, mercy, respect, and kindness towards all animals, animal theology, and compassionate alternatives to animal products.
