Oh Holy God, how can I approach You?
So vile a creature as I have become.
Strayed from the path you set for me,
So deep in my misery, I cannot see the way back.
Most Heavenly Father, Where does Your Light shine,
And where is the Truth that would anchor me?
There is no hope for me or anyone without Your Will
Sustaining me one small step at a time.
Ah, Divine Creator, I cannot see through the darkness
Enveloping me. I am the center of my own void,
And I haven't the will to try, not yet again,
On my self determined mission unto myself.
Merciful Friend, if there is but hope for me, it lies in You!
I'm desperate to know victory once again.
So yes, I accept You, Your Will and your Way!
I will try, I will reach for you at least today!
Oh Dear God, only make me know that You are there!
