A Pen To Right

In my pen there is a story
where nary a creature worry
they live in peace and raise their young
their world is safe: His will be done

In my pen there is a novel
full of love and ever hopeful
be it fly or swim or fleet feet
pain and suffer: they will not meet

In my pen there is a poem
for the beasts and those who love them
rhyming words that ask you please just
live in love and His word to trust

In my pen there is a lyric
for all creatures can you hear it
compassion is it’s melody
chorus: unconditionally

In my pen there is a riddle
for those being large and little
no, the size will make no matter
not per pound or cents and dollars

In my pen a tale of fairy
they live ever after happy
lives spent as they were intended
till God given breath has ended

In my pen there is an epic
will the world be better for it
will hearts receive these words of ink
ponder choices and stop to think

In my pen my hope to touch you
PLEASElove all creatures: they’re His too
all who breathe deserve peace on earth
with each of them as equal worth

And in my purple ink pen prayer:
Lord, may all creatures feel Your care
may they dwell in kind loving hands
and find respect of Godly man

In my pen my calling from Him
may these words reach hearts who love them
may my pen continue to hear
His words through purple ink appear
may His words find creatures peaceful
and dwell in hands and hearts gentle
may every creature see His light
and please, Our Father in Heaven,
may I always have a pen to RIGHT!
