Spiritual and Inspirational poetry that touch the heart and soul, and provoke the mind.
George Washington was born on this day,
And there are many who say
He was a good and honest youth
Who readily confessed the truth:
“I cannot tell a lie,” said he.
“I’ve cut down the cherry tree.”
This legend is one that I was told
When I was in school and not very old.
I hope today’s children are taught to see
That honesty’s still the best policy.
Go on to
Happy
Mother’s Day?
