My Soul is Starved for Perfection
Poetry and Music by Andrew Pell

Is there anything wrong ensuring we give our best.

Our passion and creativity we shouldn’t repress.

Even the mundane tasks can be lifted to the sublime.

We must always put in that extra time.

Let us not be confined to mediocrity.

Wanting the very best is not an idiosyncrasy.

Be proud of what we achieve every single day.

Take pride in the craftsmanship you display.

The Soul aches for perfection in life.

Mediocrity is the banality of life.
