Remembrance Day is celebrated for the fallen.
It should be commemorated,
The Supreme Sacrifice was made by many.
Young lives lost in a battle they didn’t understand.
Young lives lost, but did the upper echelons of Power care.
Was it fair?
Cannon Fodder was simply the go.
Bullets taring young bodies apart,
Machine gun’s firing to and fro,
The horror, the carnage and deaths,
No one could understand.

“At the going down of the Sun and in the Morning we will remember them” Lest we forget.
