A SAEN Local Chapter

Our Mission in the North Carolina Chapter

1. TO EDUCATE THE PUBLIC ABOUT:

a. the inhumane treatment of animals in laboratories at major universities

b. alternatives to animal testing which are many times more accurate, less expensive, and not painful to humans

c. the non-validity of animal testing as it relates to the effects in humans

d. the huge waste of tax money on animal experiments

We will concentrate our efforts locally, but will help with national campaigns as well.

2. We will aid in the legal surrender of lab animals to local rescue groups if the situation arises.
