EVENTS:
Tuesday, October 28th @ 6pm @ The Vegan Warehouse
Join us to make posters, banners, flyers and
postcards. If it's not raining, we'll also be sending some of the
volunteers to campus to chalk up the campus on this evening so the
students are welcomed to school on Wednesday with our message!
Wednesday, October 29th @ 9am - 2:30pm, UW
Join the campus animal rights group (CARE) and NARN
as we table to educate people about the plight of primates and other
animals in UW labs and labs around the globe! We need tablers all day
and volunteers to come early and help us chalk up the campus and set
up the table.
Thursday, October 30th @ 9am - 2:30pm, UW
This is the main day of events on campus for NPLW.
We'll be holding a press conference, the NARN-a-vision van will be up
and running in the square, we'll be using our bullhorns to reach
passers-by with our message, we'll have volunteer "primates" in
costume and in cages, and Scary Sarah will be joining us. Come early
to help us chalk and set up!
Friday, October 31st @ 9am - 2:30pm, UW
This is our final day of activities for NPLW. We
need tablers all day and volunteers to come early and help us chalk up
the campus and set up the table. We'll also be having a vegan bake
sale this day so we need volunteer bakers to bake festive Halloween or
regular vegan goodies. We'll have lots of volunteers in animal costume
to commemorate Halloween and animals in labs for NPLW!
If you're interested please contact Lindsay or Andrew

if you can help.
