Three animal deaths on UNR farm due to dehydration

RENO, Nev. (KRNV & MyNews4.com) -- Federal reports released show three animal deaths on the University of Nevada, Reno farm in September of 2011. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, inspection report, the animals died of dehydration. It was also found 10 sheep went without water over a period of five years.

National research watchdog group, Stop Animal Exploitation now has filed an official complaint with the USDA, insisting on additional citations. 

UNR has previously been fined by the USDA for multiple violations of the Animal Welfare Act.
