Sauces and Dressing Recipes
Makes 3 cups
1 large onion, chopped
1 Tbsp. Oil (safflower or olive oil is good)
3-oz. (1/2 can) tomato paste
1 1/4 c. water
1/4 cup Sucanat
1 Tbsp. Blackstrap molasses
1 Tbsp. lemon juice
2 Tbsp. Spicy brown mustard
2 Tsp. sea salt
1/16 - 1/8 tsp. cayenne
Combine all ingredients and cook over medium heat for 1 hour.
If you like BBQ sauce, you’re gonna’ LOVE this stuff!
