LOS ANGELES
Tuesday, April 17
6 - 8 pm
UCLA Rolfe Hall, Room 1200
Free film (Bad Medicine: The
human and non-human cost of animal experiments) screening open to the
public with discussion afterwards. This event is part of an awareness raising
campaign and call to action for World Laboratory Animal Liberation Week April
26th:
https://www.facebook.com/events/128046443991918/
Occupiers for Animal and Earth Liberation, Stop Animal Exploitation NOW!, Bruins for Animals, and you. Invite your friends!
Join us as we learn what we can do to stop animal experiments. The film will be followed with a group discussion. We will explain what kinds of animal experiments are carried out at UC campuss and how much money is wasted. We will compare these costs to the increase in students' tuition and make our own proposal for balancing the budget.
The film interviews scientists and doctors as they make the following points:
The basic scientific reasons why
animal research cannot help people
How human health is declining despite the
billions spent on animal research
The devastating toll in human lives because
of animal safety-tested drugs
How the cancer industry is not interested in
genuine cancer treatments
The real reasons for the decline of the infectious
diseases
That vivisection continues because of the vast amount of money at
stake
How the media and politicians both benefit from vivisections
continuation
How many within the medical profession are opposed to
vivisection
Why animal testing is used as a scapegoat when drugs kill or
injure
How vivisection is the cause of an out-of-control health-care
expenditure
Why vivisection is responsible for the poisoning of our air, food
and water
That vivisection has never been shown to be relevant to human
beings
Please RSVP as refreshments will be provided.

Corner of W.
64th Street and Centrak Park West (Corner of W. 64th Street and Central Park
West)
Please join FAUN (Friends of Animals New Jersey) and WAR (Win Animal Rights) as we take our message directly to the head of Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS), Lamberto Andreotti.
Already well known for being a longstanding customer of the notorious animal abusing hellhole Huntingdon Life Sciences, it was recently revealed by watchdog gorup Stop Animal Exploitation Now! (SAEN) that Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) has been cited by the USDA for the death of laboratory animals through negligence. One animal was killed from being left unattended during a procedure and in an easier case, a primate was literally boiled alive during a cage cleaning.
Signs and literature will be provided. Bring your loudest voice and your unbridled passion to speak out for the animals tortured and killed in animal laboratories around the world.

Join FAUN, WAR and affiliated activists as we again enlighten the public and expose the abusers and their accomplices with another demonstration at Air France/KLM's Executive Offices.
This demo is part of a focused, target-specific, ongoing campaign (Gateway To Hell) to expose the HORRORS implicit in international primate trafficking mafia that captures thousands of terrified macaques and other monkeys from their native jungles on the island of Mauritius off the coast of Madagascar and dooms them to maddening/lethal confinement on breeding farms, most often followed by torture and death in hellish laboratories of vivisection in Europe and across the globe.
