Big Pharma Demonizes Animals in Ads to Sell Drugs

Letter as published on NY Daily News
October 6, 2022

Why has Sanofi pharmaceuticals chosen to demonize wolves to push its flu vaccines? This disgraceful trend is present in several ads pitifully deprecating wildlife: Ferocious bears to sell McDonald’s, crows swarming to bizarrely sell orange juice and Liberty Mutual derides seagulls in three separate ads!

These cowardly companies are afraid to offend people, so they scapegoat those who can’t defend themselves. This practice is as dangerous for animals as it is for people.

Sanofi is the worst: First, they torture animals with outdated, dangerous and inaccurate tests, then they malign wolves as monsters that stalk, although humans are far more dangerous to wolves than they are to us. Wolves shy away from people. Shame on Sanofi for belittling them.

Let Big Pharma find another way to get rich.
