STOP KOREAN DOG / CAT MEAT INDUSTRY
AIP: CONTINUING CAMPAIGN
Dear Animal Friends,
I have some good news--on March 10, at the Fifteenth Annual Ark Trust Genesis Awards, Mark Jordan will be receiving an award for the five-part ITN series called "Cruel World," one part of which is about Korean cats and dogs. The special report on Korean cats and dogs aired on July 24-25, 2000. At the awards ceremony, two minutes of this report will be shown, and this will be great exposure for the Korean animal situation.
The purpose of the Genesis Awards is to honor the media for shining the spotlight on animal cruelty. Only 20 awards are given every year, in different categories. If you want more information about the Genesis Awards and on attending this black-tie event in Beverly Hills, CA, check out http://www.arktrust.org/genesis/genesis_2000.asp .
