Activists Help Guatemala Dolphins
This from Magali Rey Rosa:
In behalf of Turbo and Ariel we want to express our most sincere THANKS for all the messages, notes and energy received from you, for their well being. The judge has already ordained that their legal custody is placed in tha hands of Conap, the national institution that deals with wildlife. Also, he has dictated order of imprisonment for the Rocas (although it is very unlikely that they will actually be captured and punished, it is a step in the right direction). But Turbo and Ariel still have a long way to go, before being set free. We hope that very soon they will be transported to a closed bay, by the sea...We will let you know when they are swiming freely again. And we promise to work very hard on declaring Guatemala a dolphin safe territory, for which purpose could we seek for your support again? Please let us know.
