I have some good news for a change.
I just received a wonderful message from Mayor Barbara
Arnott of Napier, New Zealand. She tells me that the Napier City Council
will not be replacing Marineland's captive dolphins once the remaining two
have died. She goes on to say that they are working on an exit plan in
anticipation of the death of the dolphins.
We won this one folks. New Zealand will finally become
dolphin friendly.
To all of you that took the time to respond to the action
alert and write a letter, thank you very much.
