This\u00a0Christian perfection is seen in\u00a0Isaiah\u2019s prophecy of the Peaceable Kingdom (Isaiah 11:6-9). It\u00a0was not just for some future heavenly existence, it was for this earth, too, and it was also possible to achieve it in our present or near future time.<\/p>\n
And the wolf will dwell with the lamb,
\nAnd the leopard will lie down with the kid,
\nAnd the calf and the young lion and the fatling together;
\nAnd a little boy will lead them.
\nAlso the cow and the bear will graze;
\nTheir young will lie down together;
\nAnd the lion will eat straw like the ox.
\nAnd the nursing child will play by the hole of the cobra,
\nAnd the weaned child will put his hand on the viper\u2019s den.
\nThey will not hurt or destroy in all My holy mountain,
\nFor the earth will be full of the knowledge of the Lord
\nAs the waters cover the sea.
