Change IS happening: It can be so easy to get discouraged in a world that is opposite of our beliefs. But, try not to despair, friends: change is happening.<\/p>\n

After 146 years, Ringling Bros. Circus, which began in Baraboo, Wisconsin in 1871, held their final show last night! People are waking up to the atrocities being committed against other living beings, in part because it’s getting easier all the time to access information. Social media is an excellent resource for getting images of slaughterhouses and animal abuse cases out to the public. In-store vegan food options are exploding, with new alternatives to animal products becoming available in mainstream retailers like Walmart and Target, which makes them easy-peasy to buy. Vegan meat and cheese alternatives are expanding beyond grocery shelves as vegan “butcher” shops open up around the country. This is an exciting time to be in the animal rights movement! Going vegan is the ethical thing to do for the animals, your health, the environment, and world hunger.<\/p>\n
