\nAnd I saw a new heaven and a new earth: for the first heaven and the first earth are passed away; and the sea is no more.<\/p>\n

I believe the reason that God found it necessary to create a new heaven and earth was because the present heaven and earth allowed for the presence of corruption and evil, which the new heaven and new earth will not.<\/p>\n

The world as we know it today will no longer exist, for in doing away with it, God is also removing every trace of its corruption.<\/p>\n

But, we are not to wait for God to do this, we are to be telling as many other people as we can about God\u2019s desire for our lives, and how it involves living in His heavenly will.<\/p>\n

Finally, since there will no longer be any sea, this verse seems to imply that this will be a spiritual world and that the living beings that had been living in the waters will no longer need the waters to live for they will be spiritual being like us.<\/p>\n
