Revelation 21.4 – Bible Commentary (no pain, suffering, or death)<\/strong>
\nand he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes; and death shall be no more; neither shall there be mourning, nor crying, nor pain, anymore: the first things are passed away.<\/p>\n

This is the ultimate heavenly will of God. Think about the second part of The Lord\u2019s Prayer: Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Therefore, if we pray this way and truly mean it, then this is the way we should be living here on earth in today\u2019s world. We should be doing everything in our power to prevent or cause any pain, suffering or death.<\/p>\n

What we have hear is the heavenly will of God that can change the world. And, give it peace until God calls the believers home to be with Him forever and ever.<\/p>\n

Therefore, this includes eliminating all animal derived foods, for we cannot acquire them without directly or indirectly causing any pain suffering or death. Thus, our only alternative is to live by God\u2019s first commandments in Genesis 1:29-30, which is to only eat plant foods. But, living in God\u2019s heavenly won\u2019t end here.<\/p>\n

We also need to think about the environment and eliminate as much pollution as we can, for the pollution is causing immense pain suffering and death to billions of humans and other animals all around the world.<\/p>\n

Also, think of most of the symbolism associated with Halloween. We see decorations that look like dripping blood. We see cemeteries, gravestones, skeletons, and the living dead. Aren\u2019t they all depicting death or dying or pain and suffering. Is not what we just saw are totally opposite of God\u2019s heavenly will? In addition, don\u2019t some people also scapegoat cats, particularly black cats, and seek to bring them harm?<\/p>\n

If there is no death or suffering in heaven, aren\u2019t such people actually celebrating the ways of the devil?<\/p>\n

God’s intent is one of life and not death. We might say that He is truly pro-life. It is sin, as we read in Romans 6:23, that brings about death, all death. Is it not sin that leads to an unwanted pregnancy? Is it not sin that leads to war? Is it not sin that leads to capital punishment? Then, as Christians, shouldn’t we be asking ourselves: Isn’t our participation in any of these things, or their violent terminations, a part of the original sin or the perpetration of another?<\/p>\n

Let’s look at the case of the raising and killing of animals for food (flesh or by-products), Doesn’t this always results in death? Are not most living living in the concession of God, as granted in Genesis 9:3-4? Instead, shouldn’t we all be living in His heavenly will?<\/p>\n

What would Jesus do today?<\/p>\n

We need to ask ourselves, where do we draw the line on living in the concessions rather than the will of God? If your grandmother knitted you a beautiful sweater, and you used it as a doormat upon which to wipe your feet, would you please her? Would she be happy with the way you express your love?<\/p>\n

Similarly, how can we say that we love God with all our heart and with all our soul and with all our might, and with all our mind, and then destroy part of His wonderful creation, as we are doing with the animals, the rainforests, and the pollution our factory farms are causing to our ground water, streams, rivers, lakes, and oceans?<\/p>\n
