A Priest of God or a Priest of Satan? \u2013 Conclusion<\/h2>\n

As we conclude our review of the actions of Fr. Mick MacAndrew, as reported in Australian newspapers, let\u2019s look at a few more things he says.<\/p>\n

Continuing from Part 04, PETA is a secular organization, and as such, they are not espousing anything that could be considered \u2018occult\u2019. So why does Mick MacAndrew call them occult?<\/p>\n

So, based upon the Biblical passages we quoted previously, we ask again: Is Father MacAndrew a priest of God or a priest of Satan?\u00a0 And, is he leading others astray by his false teaching?<\/p>\n

Let’s return to the article:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Bombala priest, aged in his late fifties, feared activists were muddying the world\u2019s natural law by condemning animal husbandry knowledge dating back thousands of years.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cAre we humans being reduced to nothing but animal status?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n

\u201cWho wants to end up a forced vegan for the rest of their lives?\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cPerhaps his sharpest barb is saved for Abercrombie and Fitch, the American retailer boycotting Australian wool.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cI went on to their website\u2019s photo gallery and there were scantily dressed males and females – they wouldn\u2019t be buying too much wool,\u201d Fr MacAndrew said.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe part-time teacher pledged to educate pupils about the controversial farming practice when he tutors an agricultural science class next year.\u201d<\/p>\n

Note what Jesus says about such teachers (Matthew 18:6):<\/p>\n

6. but whoever causes one of these little ones who believe in Me to stumble, it is better for him that a heavy millstone be hung around his neck, and that he be drowned in the depth of the sea.<\/p>\n

It sure seems that this Bible verse is talking about people like Mick MacAndrew.<\/p>\n

Let’s return to the article:<\/p>\n

\u201cThe Catholic Church is yet to announce an official stance on mulesing.\u201d<\/p>\n

Which we believe it should strongly condemn.<\/p>\n

This is why we have been saying that church silence promotes violence.<\/p>\n

The closest it ventured to an animal rights issue recently was when Pope Benedict XVI condemned battery hen farms.<\/p>\n

\u201cPETA accuses many livestock farmers of cruelty,\u201d Fr MacAndrew said.<\/p>\n

\u201cCruelty is against the law in Australia and the RSPCA monitors cruelty yet there\u2019s never been a prosecution against a woolgrower for mulesing.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not a crime – mulesing is anything but cruel, cruel is the malicious and intentional intent to cause harm.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt is carried out to prevent greater injury to the animal.\u201d<\/p>\n

These are just more lies and twisting of the truth, for to deliberately cause pain and suffering for any reason is cruel, and mulesing causes horrible pain and suffering. It is this cruelty that we, PETA, and other organizations are working to stop, and to bring people back to compassionate ways of living.<\/p>\n

This is something the church should be doing, but they just keep silent, and let spokespeople like Mick MacAndrew lie and twist the truth for them and show their lack of\u00a0compassion.<\/p>\n
