Please share this information with as many people as you can, because it\u2019s up to us to speak out for the animals who cannot speak for themselves; and since the government seems unwilling or unable to put an end to repeated instances of unlawful institutionalized animal cruelty, it is up to us to expose the repeated acts of cruelty going on behind closed doors.<\/p>\n

On 14 May 2012, Joe Pagliuso & Bros., Inc., slaughterhouse in Ontario, New York was inspected by the USDA\u2019s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), and once again was cited for not providing water to animals. The report stated:<\/p>\n

Citation: <\/strong>HATS Category III [newline]At approximately 0715 I observed the following non-compliance. In the pens there was a pen with 1 calf, 3 sheep, and 3 goats that had no water. I informed of the non-compliance. immediately had an employee give the animals in the pen water. This document serves as notice of non-compliance within Federal Regulation 9 CFR 313.2(e). Animals shall have access to water in all holding pens and, if held longer than 24 hours, access to feed. There shall be sufficient room in the holding pen for animals held overnight to lie down.<\/p>\n

It should never have to be the responsibility of a government inspector to have to tell people to give water to animals. Joe Pagliuso & Bros. and other slaughterhouses should know this already; it should be their standard practice, and since it is not, it seems to add further proof that this industry is morally corrupt. What they are doing is ungodly.<\/p>\n

For those who have been following this blog, it becomes painfully obvious that little or nothing is really being done to stop these repeated acts of improper animal care, which all have the same \u201crepeated errors\u201d; and the animals suffer because of it.<\/p>\n

As these reports show, institutionalized animal cruelty is running wild in the world; and if the government is allowing these repeated instances to occur at Joe Pagliuso & Bros., they must be allowing them to occur at other facilities.<\/p>\n

The only sure way to end this seemingly endless line of cited and uncited instances of institutionalized animal cruelty is to go vegan and share our compassionate reasons for doing it, so that others will follow our example.<\/p>\n
