Join us for a potluck, raw food demo and live music by Amanda Rogers.

Please bring a vegan dish to share. It will be helpful to have a paper with the ingredients or recipe available to share with all. We have access to the kitchen for last minute preparations and have the ability to reheat items.

There will be a raw food cooking demo and tasting by Johanna Sophia. At the Expo she showed us how to make delicious fruit chocolate mousse. There will be more details to follow for her demo and talk on eating more raw.

More information about her can be found at http://www.nyvegetarianexpo.org/2012/food-demos/fruit-chocolate-mousse-and-chocolate-truffles/

Live Music by Amanda Rogers!. Often compared to the likes of Tori Amos for her fairy esthetic and classical roots, Tom Waits for her dark and literary lyrics, and Carole King for her Tin Pan Alley Pop sensibility, Upstate NY native, Amanda Rogers, has continued her 15 year musical journey on herself paved career path as an original and independent touring and recording artist as well as a self-proclaimed Muse. She has 8 album in tow, multiple international tours solo as well as with a full rock band and as a folk duo, numerous guest appearances on other albums and features in newspapers and magazines (Rolling Stone, Visions, Music Express, Esquire, and Classic Rock Magazine, as well and many others).

Amanda is excited to be performing a set of us of her recent music. She has also been vegan for 16 years and meat-free for 20.

More information can be found on her website http://www.amandaspiano.com/
