Children bear the consequences of some of our actions
(or lack thereof)
According to a new report, 175
million children would be affected every year over the next decade
by climate-related disasters like droughts, floods and storms.
Children, being society's vulnerable members, would be hurt
disproportionately and millions more would be killed, forced from
their homes or hit by hunger and disease.

Sometimes others are affected by
the consequences of our actions. It's especially appalling that
children are suffering and will suffer greatly due to our failing at
taking care of God's Creation. Factory farming contributes to 18% of
global warming gasses emissions, to immense cruelty to animals and
to health decline. A plant-based diet helps as to be good stewards
of all of God's Creation: our health, animals and the environment.
