Film to Encourage Vegetarianism
A new children's movie will attempt what has never been attempted
before: to show the world that humans should love animals and let them
live freely without exploitation, mainly without eating them.
"The Greenchic - Finding Dad",
a full-length animation set to premiere in India this month, wants "to
spread awareness among the youth about the atrocities caused on animals
and learn to respect them.” The producers of this film “would also like
to discourage consumption of non-vegetarian food which is one of the
prime reasons of global warming."

Children are innately compassionate and merciful, and it is their
parents/guardians responsibility, as well as their communities’, to
encourage those traits. This film will surely touch many hearts;
however, the real question is: How many parents are willing to take
their children to watch this movie that might contradict their own
choices about food? Hopefully, this movie will encourage discussion,
which could bring awareness to the plight of God’s animals raised for
food and thus a change of food choices.
