Dear Frank and Mary,

If there isn't confusion, why is there so much animal abuse in the Judeo-Christian tradition as compared to the Jain and some extend Hindu traditions. Why does one message allow individuals to draw conclusions of allowable harm and slaughter, while another consistently encourages compassion?

As long as you state that allowable harm and slaughter is not the true message of Christianity, why not go a step further and state that unconditional compassion is: here and now.
