In reference to: Wild Black Cherry
Dear Cindy and Carl:
Thank you for writing.
We suspect the the problem was caused by the tent caterpillars. We had the same problem with a black cherry tree in our yard. Very early in the morning, before the caterpillars came out of their nest, we cut off the end of the branch with the web. New leaves are starting to grow back.
In the Love of the Lord,
Frank and Mary
