Thank you very much for your encouraging comments about our web site and for sending us the photos.
These do not appear to be a different species, but only mature male catkins. If you go back and look at our pussy willow section, you'll find photos of both mature male and female catkins. If you still believe that these are something different, could you please take another close up photo of some of the catkins and send them to us.
