In Reference to: Caterpillar, Spicebush Swallowtail - God's Little Folk

Dear Friend,

Just a couple of days ago I was walking in a nearby park around a lake. I was feeling down because of the recent death of my older sister. On the pavement ahead my attention was drawn to a small yellow wormlike creature. I stopped to look at it. It was so cute I had to smile. I gently picked it up and had it craw around my hand.

This little yellow creature brought tears to my eyes as if the Lord had dropped him there just for me at that moment. I felt joy again and hope. I put him down gently among some leaves away from the path. I wondered what he was.

Then today while looking under caterpillars, I couldn't find him in the reference section. Then for some reason your web site flashed on--I don't remember hitting a key. Anyway his picture came on my screen, and I was so joyful to find out what he was--a spicebush caterpillar.

I would like to keep this photo on my computer but don't know if it will save.

Anyway that is my experience. Thank you for your web site.
