Dear All Creatures.org,

I really enjoyed this wonderful little article on the caterpillar. I completely agree with you that God's creation is intelligent. I often wonder how humans miss this obvious fact...there is nothing that God created which is not integrally brilliant in both its uniqueness and beauty.

This year, I am coordinating a Feast of St. Francis hike to raise money for Farm Sanctuary as a way of celebrating God's wonderful gifts. I remind my Christian friends that the most beautiful birth of all was in a manger and that the creatures that are so brutally used for food were those that surrounded Jesus in the manger. So, as a commemoration to that and to celebrating the gifts of God's bounty, I am coordinating the hike in the Sky Meadows State Park in Delaplane Virginia. Anyone who may want to hike may email me so that I can keep them in the loop on the plans and updates before the hike. If not, then, and there are those that may want to donate, please do so at http://www.farmsanctuary.com. The hike is going to be on October 2nd. The event is posted on Facebook...anyone who may want to to keep in touch may do so by friending me (Stacey Remick-Simkins).

I will be keeping a Twitter and Facebook stream going during the 5.2 mile hike where there are magnificent vistas all around. This park is one of the unique state parks in that it links to the Appalachian Trail and dates back to the Civil War.

May God Bless You as you continue your valuable work. I enjoy your sermons, articles and feel very blessed to have found you.

Blessings,

Stacey Remick-Simkins
