In Reference to Growing a Papaya Tree from Seed

Thank you for your reply.
One thing to look for, is that the female flowers grow in the leaf axil and the smaller male flowers grow in clusters near the top of the tree.
We live in upstate NY and we have never been able to grow any papayas that were able to produce fruit. They just grow too tall for inside our home and will die outside in the cold weather.
