In Reference to: Wild Rose (Rosa Rugosa) - Flowering Trees, Bushes and Shrubs of Sleepy Hollow Lake

We too have the Rugosa Roses but ours are almost 4’ high (the plant) with flowers as large as 6” across.  Please note the photos showing blooms larger than my hands which are six inches long and five plus inches across.  Also, note the photo with me standing in front of the largest plant which stands around 6’ tall.  I am 5’6” and it is at least six inches taller than I am.

Are these Rugosa Roses or something else?
