Our subjects cover: animals, religion (Christian, Jewish and others); diet and lifestyle (vegan and vegetarian); and other miscellaneous subjects.
I think Mike raised some important questions regarding starting a vegan and a vegan/vegetarian Christian church. I did want to note that it might be a "fact" that it has been his experience that the least impressive group "as far as getting things going" have been vegetarian Christians, but it is not necessarily a fact in any objective sense (for example that the earth is a spherical body) nor it necessarily true that other people have had similar impressions as he.
That said, exploring why the vast majority of Christians have not adopted plant-based diets despite strong biblical bases for doing so is a topic worthy of thought, discussion, and perhaps even good sociological research. Perhaps reasons include the way Christian vegans and vegetarians are promoting plant-based diets, and perhaps (as Mike suggests) we need better ways of organizing ourselves.
