York Minster

Animal Christian Concern are to be congratulated on arranging the Animal Welfare Service at York Minster on September 28th. A very small society, they are doing a marvellous job in uniting concern for animals within the church. The service was attended by over 700 people.

The service was led by the Dean of York (who, incidentally, helped us with our Christmas Without Cruelty campaign in York last year) and the address was given by the Bishop of Salisbury, a man who is now well known for his concern for animals.
