You report (August 5) that Nicholas Coote - assistant general
secretary of the Catholic Bishops Conference of England and Wales "could
see no difficulty for the Church" if pig hearts and other organs were
transplanted into human patients, "provided it didn't lead to
unnecessary animal experimentation". How naive can one get? It is as
certain as night following day that it WILL lead to a burgeoning of
