A Mary T. Hoffman Commentary from

"Joyful Curmudgeon" An oxymoron?
No! I see all the beauty of God's creation and I'm joyful.  At the same time, I see all the suffering and corruption going on in the world, and feel called to help expose and end it so that we may have true peace and compassion.

101 Reasons – 22 March 2007
By Mary T. Hoffman

The pamphlet titled 101 Reasons Why I’m a Vegetarian by Pamela Rice is one of the best, easy to understand resources for explaining vegetarianism. With brief, fully documented facts, it’s a pleasure to read and answers questions that non-vegetarians as well as vegetarians might have. An updated issue will be printed later this year.

From personal experience, I agree wholeheartedly with Pamela Rice’s observations, among them:

“If you take my words to heart and adopt the vegetarian diet, you will discover that this way of life is in fact a wonderful creed to live by, which will actually open doors on foods, rather than shut them.”

So, do yourself a favor and order a pamphlet for yourself and some for friends and family. You’ll be happy you did! For more information visit:
