Dear Mr. Duffy,
I will not lecture Costco on the cowardice it exhibited today when
bullied by the even more cowardly Newfoundland premier, and the very
public disintegration of its integrity under no greater weight than the
less than almighty Newfoundland dollar. All in all a thoroughly despicable
display. But I will lecture you on the lack of wisdom in your management
even where profit is concerned, and your damaging the very fabric of our
By reneging on your promise to us, you may have averted a small scale
boycott in Newfoundland, but you have just stirred up the beginning of a
full scale boycott against Costco throughout North America, in both Canada
and the United States. I will personally make sure that it will happen.
Further, Costco has betrayed and undermined the principle and spirit of
free enterprise, by setting a precedence of allowing government to dictate
to a company what it must sell, or else.

capsules from the shelf. Is this true? If so, when will it take
