Letter from Kim and Eric Walker Concerning Our Web Site and Hunting - 7 Sep 2004

This morning I started searching the internet for any information I could find on how to stop hunting on the 47 acres we recently purchased in Nashville, Tennessee.

I know we have a big fight on our hands because everyone around us is allowing friends to hunt on the adjoining land. My husband and I have felt so defeated the last few days because of this. We have even considered selling the land and just forgetting our dream of living peacefully in a beautiful forest.

I'm so glad I stumbled across your web site. After several confrontations with hunters this weekend. It was easy to forget that we are not alone in how we feel about the animals. Pray for our success in creating a peaceful refuge for the wildlife and for the safety of my husband, son, and myself.

Thank you for the beautiful website.

Dear Kim and Eric:

Thank you very much for your email and for wanting to end hunting on your land.

There seems to be a lot more hunters than there really are. The latest estimates that we've seen place the number of hunters at about 4% of the population. These hunters are violating your majority rights to live in peace, particularly on your own land.

We're not familiar with your local laws, so it's important that you check out the posting laws and then post your land appropriately so that hunters would be guilty of criminal trespass.

In the Love of the Lord,
