Psalm 73:25 New Century Version
25. I have no one in heaven but you; I want nothing on earth besides you.
The greatness of God is without comparison. Heaven and earth are filled with people, angels and animals but none of them can touch us or be present in our lives as God can. The psalmist’s eyes are on the King of kings. God alone occupied his senses and filled every fiber of his being. The union between the Almighty and His loyal servant was unbreakable. His desire was for God and He yearned for His presence.
God asks us to love Him with our whole heart. As we look into our own hearts, we must find out if this is true of us. Do we see God as the One and only in our lives just because He is God? To see God in this way is true love. God is our only real safe place…………..Psalm 46:1 (NLV) God is our safe place and our strength. He is always our help when we are in trouble.
God is omnipresent and is never far away. meaning He is everywhere at one time so we are never alone. He is as close as a prayer and ready to help us in our time of need. He is omniscient; all knowing. He knows the decisions we will make and the times we will go through. He knows the end from the beginning and understands everything. There is nothing we cannot run to Him for and at no time will He dismiss us. God is omnipotent or all powerful.
Luke 1:37 English Standard Version
37. For nothing will be impossible with God.”
God created all things and sustained His earth with food and water. He makes it rain and causes the sun to shine. God delivers us from all our fear
Psalm 34:4 English Standard Version
4. I sought the Lord, and he answered me and delivered me from all my fears.
He heals and restores and protects His creation. There is nothing that God cannot do. He gave His Son to be crucified for us and then raised Him from the dead. God never fails because He cannot fail. For He is love.
1 Corinthians 13:8
8. Love never fails.........
God is good even when it feels to us like He’s not. God chooses to be called our Father and calls us His children. There is no one in the universe or in heaven like God. Nothing on earth will ever compare to the greatness of God and beauty of who He is.
Prayer: Father help us to see you as you are.
God bless

The
purpose of this series is to encourage people to live as loving, compassionate,
and peacemaking children of God: Jesus tells us to pray, "Thy kingdom come, thy
will be done, on earth as it is in heaven." (Matthew 6:10) God tells us through
Micah (6:8), "He has told you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord
require of you But to do justice, to love kindness, And to walk humbly with your
God." And we know from Revelation 21:4 that there will be no more mourning, or
crying, or pain, or death. Thus, Christian living requires us to set the
standards of these conditions here on earth for our fellow human beings, and for
the other animals, as a witness to the rest of the world. To do otherwise is not
Christian.
