All Animals are God’s Special Children
Poetry and Music By Andrew Pell
Yet we callously murder them to put food on our table.
Mankind and animals were meant to live in harmony with one another.
Yet contrary to what God originally ordained,
Animals were slaughtered for food and sport.
How barbaric and disgusting is this primal action.
It certainly does not fill me with such elation,
On the contrary it fills me with great sadness.
The abattoirs and hunters could not care less.
God must shed a tear when he looks down on his creation.
This is not what God decreed and instructed.
A few years ago sick animals were simply tossed overboard at sea.
A barbaric act that all the world could see.
We are entrusted to care and love all animals.
When Christ returns the Paradise will be once more.
Animals and humans will live in peace as they did before.
